Hey I agree with Steve, why on earth would our country want to give health coverage to all those middle class kids...the money is much better spent on bombing and killing Iraqi kids...or lets give it to the NSA to develop better spying techniques against Americans so that pesky NY Times won't find out about it and blab to the world...and while we're at it, how about installing George W Bush as Imperial Ruler or King...

This is a SCHIP that should be sunk. It's about time to nip these entitlement programs in the bud.

I am sure the next KKK rally in MacDonald Park will be when Queens Blvd. becomes an expressway, separating the north from the south!

Lots of congressional Democrats and Republicans are friends. They're co-workers. Every senator is for something that his party as a whole doesn't support, with the possible exception of the party leadership, but Hatch is about as close to the Republican orthodoxy as it gets.

I knew people wouldn't like the MoveOn.org plug, but you know, whatever floats your boat. I would've posted about a KKK rally, too!

Well, I am for the bill but attending a rally sponsored by MoveOn.org to me is the equivalent of going to an event supported by the KKK. It should be noted that members of BOTH parties do propose to override Bush's veto. Oh, and Orrin Hatch is NOT your typical, partyline Republican, Steve. Believe it or not, he is for stem cell research and is a very good friend of Ted Kennedy's (not that THAT will get him any closer to entering heaven).
