Crime Increase in Forest Hills, North side of Queens Blvd

There has been a spike in crime over the past several weeks. House and apartment building burglaries,
car break-ins and theft, and graffiti on private and public property. The problem area is bounded by 75th Av,
Queens Blvd, Grand Central Parkway and Jewel Av.
Please be alert at all times and immediately contact 911 if you see any suspicious activity on your block.

Also, please come down to the 112 Precinct this Wednesday, March 19th at 7:30 for a Precinct Council meeting. Meet our new Commanding Officer, Captain Tamola and find out what is going on in your community.
Queens District Attorney Richard Brown will be the guest speaker.
It's up to you to voice your concerns about community safety. Your hard-earned investment in Forest Hills is at stake.
See you there!

Oh as just an annoying aside touting Kew Gardens ... the 102nd, which covers KG, was rated as the BEST precinct in Queens. I thought that was nice and would like to share. :)

Yeah, but I thought it was funny that you can even get away with saying that. Really, it should be that Queens is the second-safest borough, not that it's the safest borough ... with a population over 1 million, as if Staten Island doesn't count.

Story doesn't say Queens is the safest of the 5 Boroughs. It says, it is the saftest of the Boroughs that have over 1 million people. That leave S.I. out of the equation.
