Pinkfloyd, ignore doesn't work when you have a determined spammer who is flooding the entire site with messages. I had this conversation with others who claimed it did work and they themselves gave up and left because of spamming. The only thing that will work would be a benevolent site admin who removes the spammer. We had an admin at one point but that person took their mission beyond what it should have been.
