My go to place for pizza now. I had couple of slices there with my cousin Friday night. He described it best that the pizza doesn't have a gimmick.

I'm still a huge fan of Pizza Classico in the Stop and Shop mall. Only criticism I have with them is I wish their Sicilians were more doughy. Unfortunately it is out of the way.

It's right next to the Midway. I had a few bad experiences with Pizza Classico's deliveries. I'll have to check them out in person. I've heard good things about them.

In person Pat, they are very good. I really like their grandma pizzas and assorted stuff. I am definitely going to check out Glorias. There aren't too many good pizza stores in the neighborhood. I don't order out anymore because I'm single now and a whole pie is too much for me. Besides I'm trying to stick to a diet and pizza puts on too much weight when I eat too much of it. All the good shit is bad for you.

We've really gotten into Marienella's, just off Yellowstone (previously it was owned by Capolinea). Absolutely the best white pie I've ever had. In fact I just had one for dinner.

I know :/ But I have a tomato allergy. Sucks to be me. The best white pizza I've ever had was up in New Haven actually. It might have even been better than the "regular" pizza.

Join Queens Neighbors and ask aout New Haven pizza there. One of the posters is an expert--he drives to New Haven for a pizza fix
Pizza Classico in the Stop & Shop strip mall makes a "vegetable" slice on foccacia bread. Grilled veggies such as fancy mushrooms, eggplant, etc are stacked on the bread. Their brick oven pizza is great. If you don't have a car, it is the last stop on the Q23

Queensgurl, I have a feeling you are referring to the clam pie at Frank Pepe's in New Haven. They still apparently shuck fresh clams for their white pie daily. It is about 87 miles NYC to New Haven and IMHO well worth the trip for superior pizza.
