I like what poprocks was trying turn this board into. Lots of hip places to find out about and people to meet. The only thing I learned before poprock's board was how to get to CVS and that medical supply store. I mean bring a book. It was like that old timer movie called Cocoon that my Grandfather made me watch once.

What poprocks did did was strip the board of spam (a plus, everyone should agree about) and sanitize postings. She did nothing toward making this a "hipster" forum. I don't recall her introducing any new information or features, whether in the forums or on the main page of the site.
Oh, and by the way, if you had bothered to read either of Steve's missives since the detonation, you'd pretty much know that censorship and change are not what Steve, the owner of this site, was looking for when he gave poprocks the administrator position.
I always find it odd when people have lurked for weeks and months and suddenly feel compelled to join and post nasty comments.

Funny how we are all such old farts to a "newbie" here. Oh yeah, the thread where we all posted our ages was deleted...oh, how tragic that our understood little miss couldn't have possibly found out that the core posters of OCF spanned an age range that, while admittedly going up past 60, also dipped well below 20....with the probable majority being in that oh so desirable demographic of 25-39. Oh...maybe that is too old. But I am so glad to see that not only are we all here, we have all singlehandedly, within hours, aged a brand new forum to our own level....now pass that darn metamucil before I squeeze out a bomb on that padding on your walker!
