There are two totally different arguments being made here.
Do you WANT to save the stadium and SHOULD the stadium be saved...
My daughter WANTS to have ice cream for dinner. It's tasty, good source of dairy, and calories are calories regardless of the meal. She'll burn them off playing just as with any other food. Is it POSSIBLE to have ice cream for dinner? Sure. Go to the store, get it, give her a spoon.
We WANT to save the stadium. It's architecturally interesting, historically and emotionally resonant to a number of us. It is POSSIBLE to be saved in the it just takes an influx of money and a willingness to invest.
SHOULD my daughter have ice cream for dinner? Probably not, as there's not a lot of good nutrition in it. Loaded with sugar late in the evening will screw with sleep. It would be nutritionally irresponsible.
SHOULD the stadium be saved? I'd argue not. Loud concerts are going to upset the community. Quiet concerts seemingly aren't interested in coming out here. Multi-purpose usage seems to be financially irresponsible.
