Our nanny will be leaving us in September because both of our children will be in full day school. She has been with us for over 4 years and my family loves her. She is part of our family and we hate to see her go. We really want to find her a job with a new family in the September timeframe. She is reliable and never took a unscheduled day off in the 4 years with us. Like I said the kids adore her and any family would be better off having her.

Please let me know if anyone is interested.

David, does your nanny only want to work in Queens or would she consider Manhattan? I know someone who is currently interviewing.

Several of my neighbors in Forest Hills Gardens have expressed a desire for household help. This would be a live in situation residing in a caretakers apartment above the garage.

I don't think she would want a live in situation. Her ideal job is somewhere in the FH area for a weekday nanny from 8am-6pm (flexibility with the exact timing obviously dependent on what is dictated by the family).

David, my wife and I are due for our first in a few weeks! Yay! We have not committed as yet whether we will have a nanny, but I expect that we will. We would not need one until January though. Nevertheless, I thought I would post here in case your nanny does not find another position by that time. Thanks.

OK - we told her tonight and we are committed to finding her a job. Her only requirement is that the family lives near mass transit. She is in need of a job in the September timeframe. Please let me know if anyone (of if you know anyone) is interested.
