During the rains on Monday night we turned off of Woodhaven Blvd onto Yellowstone Blvd and hit some sort of pothole. Between the dark, the rain and the road resurfacing we couldn't identify what we hit into. Whatever it was, our front left tire hit hard.
By the time we got home, around Parker Towers, the car was telling us that we had low air pressure in our front left tire. Obviously, tomorrow we will need to take the car in to be looked at and see exactly what kind of damage we are talking about. From the outside it looks okay, but who knows what it will look like on a lift or when the give the rim a good going over.
Does anybody have any advice about what to do with the city? I should report this somehow, but am not sure how. How do I do it? Will I be able to file a claim with the city for the repair bill for damage to the car? What is the best way to go about this whole thing?
Thanks!
