I am moving!!! Woohoo!
This has been in the works for quite some time and I signed the contract to sell my place last week. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly and this doesn't fall through.
Now, we need to start the search for a new place. As some of you might recall, we were looking in Clinton Hill, but that is NOT happening. I have been reading about too much crime and wouldn't be comfortable. We have decided to look in Midtown, but our budget will get a lot less there than in Brooklyn, but we can both walk to work and it should be great. Now, we just need to decide if we should rent or buy. Interest rates are low low low, but I think housing will take a hit, so I am torn.
It's been a pleasure to be part of this blog community for the past several years and will miss the craziness of bobby, the intelligence of Shayna, the knowledge of jewels, the passionate politics of FHguy and TR and most of the other zany characters that make up this blog. I will still post from time to time, but will be a member like jane and not be in the same county.
