Oh my, the pain and humiliation of being a Mets fan. Frankly, I think they haven't taken too well to CitiField, and neither have the fans. Too sterile to belong to the Mets. Good work, Yankees. It's nice to know that at least you guys know what you're supposed to be doing - winning.

I think Citifield has some very redeeming qualities, Blue Smoke, Shake Shack, Mamas, the Beer Place, Mets Museum. So there is plenty to do if you're not a mascochist (aka Mets Fan who's watching the game) or Sadist (anyone rooting against the Mets).

Funny. I'm a Yankees fan but I love Citifield. I think it is a wonderful ballpark as opposed to Yankee stadium which really is a Stadium. Funny huh.

You're right KR, Yankee Stadium is not intimate, but neither was the old one. It's larger than life like the Yankees. Just like Jake Ruppert that's what the Boss wanted. Look out on that field and you know you're in a very special place. When I'm there I'm generally in my seat watching the game and most of the time my boys don't disappoint. Then of course I drive there so I can't spend too much time in the Bar. Johnny Rockets, Nathans and Carvel are fine by me, I ain't there for the food. Not enough time for NYY Steak when I go.

Went to citi field for the first time this month. I am a Yankees season ticket holder. Field level seats at Citi cost 60% less than my Yanks tickets. Worth switching teams for in this economy.
Love citi field. The food is by far better than Yankee STadium. The dunk tank and other activities for kids make it more interesting when the mets are getting blown out.
Plus, can't beat the 10 minute commute.
