Ate at Wafa's the other night ... first time making it back sine they opened in the new location. As delicious as ever and by 8:30 pm the place was packed.

So very happy to see that she's doing so well in the new, larger space. What a neighborhood gem (even if it is a bit of a hike)!!

They are on seamless web and deliver to FH/RP/KG. There is a $15 minimum I think which is reasonable--and the food is good the next day

We are in Wafa's all the time--spinach pies and rice/wheat germ and lentils is always a welcome lunch or dinner for the three year old, and the parents muchly enjoy falafel now and again. The food is wonderful, in large measure because Wafa does most of the prep herself so things are just so.

And I woud echo what wonderful people Wafa and her sons are. It's always a pleasure to see them and chat. When she was closed for a few months between locations Wafa made us trays of spinach pies so we could freeze them for shorty. Wafa is a neighborhood gem!

Wafa comes from a restaurant family. Her brother owns at least one restaurant near Wall Street. There was a write up about her in the Cheap Eats edition of New York Magazine
