Hey all,

It's time for these forums to give up the ghost. It's riddled with spam and there's nothing we can do about it. There's an absentee admin which has outrightly said that he doesn't care. He also hasn't been responsive to those that offered to help.

Bugleg has setup alternate forums at queensneighbors.com. Time to jump ship for a cleaner experience without having to wade through a bunch of crap daily!

This is a period of transition to be sure; and the bugleg-created forum is sure looking good. The more people get on board the quicker Steve can shut the lights over here, not that he even knows that the bulb is flickering precariously.

I heard back from Steve over the weekend and he wants a suprmajority (not sure how that would really even be determined) in order to appoint a moderator.

Looking at queensneigghbors, I personally think we should all jump ship and go there and perhaps steve will shut this down.

What is Steve's definition of supermajority? 60%? This is getting ridiculous.

Those not in favor speak up. I don't think we have one objection. That sounds like a super majority in my view. Everyone voting said yes. It's actually an absolute majority.

I personally like this site better. It is more visually appealing. But obviously I do not have a supermajority vote on this either.

Karen--good luck with your move. I have a childhood friend from NY who is a HS PrincipAl in Mesa. No more blizzards. I tried to get some doctor recommendations for you--but she is currently in Europe because of the death of a family member.
